Haematoxylum Campechianum

The Logwood extract gives the water a purple/pink colour. When applied, the final colour depends on the mordant and the pH : it will go towards the reds in an acid environment and towards the blues in an alcaline environment.

Aqueous extraction, concentration, purification, spray-drying.
