RETAN BL
PREMIUM SCRD exclusivity, liquid, 100% vegetable, durable. The noblest and oldest of the tannins used in tanning, it is especially used for the tanning and delicate retanning of luxury materials (crocodile, reptile, fish) which require leather that is strong in light and flexible.
RETAN BLK-M
PREMIUM solution, 100% vegetable, sustainable. Exclusive SCRD recipe of sweetened tannins of the pyrogallic type from a selection of Sumac leaves (Rhus Coriaria, Rhus Cotinus). Powder with a light green colour and a typical fruity smell, these sweetened pyrogallic tannins give to the leather lightness with incomparable capacities of graining and dry milling. Excellent striker for dyes, very good fastness to perspiration and to light, Anti chrome VI.
Retan CB
PREMIUM solution, 100% vegetable, sustainable. Specific SCRD formulation of sweetened pyrogallic tanning extracts of chestnut. Gives much better results than the simple use of classic tannins at the start of tanning (Mimosa, Quebracho). Also recommended in buffed and or grained leathers, with very good penetration thanks to its ph and excellent fixation on collagen.
Retan ECO
PREMIUM Solution, SCRD specialty 100% vegetable, sustainable, with very high dispersing power. Eco-friendly auxiliary essential to help the penetration of vegetable in fast tanning processes, of retanning agents and dyes. Soft re-tanning action. Replaces naphthalene Syntans in full vegetable or free formaldehyde processes.
Retan FG 211
PREMIUM solution, sustainable. Original specialty from the historical know-how of SCRD. This SCRD exclusivity combines quickly with proteins while preserving the finesse of the grain. Used alone or in combination with other tannins, it gives roundness, suppleness and softness to the leather. Its bulking power is excellent for filling bellies and flat leathers.
Retan GL
PREMIUM solution, 100% vegetable, sustainable. Original specialty from SCRD's historical know-how available in liquid form. Used in retanning it gives roundness and swelling. Improves touch and facilitates the glazing and the polishing of leathers. Improves the selections and choice yields.
Retan GPSP
PREMIUM solution, 100% vegetable, sustainable. Original specialty resulting from the historical know-how of SCRD declined in paste form containing naturally, sugars, waxes, and mineral substances. Its surface action improves the burnish effect of leathers, used as a pore filler, it allows very light but more covering finishings.
Retan HN
PREMIUM solution, sustainable. Revolutionary SCRD creation of 100% short-term renewable vegetable tannins. Used in tanning or retanning of chrome-free leathers. Reinforced action in the bellies. First range of vegetable products that achieves unmatched light and heat fastness. Its very low coloration allows a wide range of shades from pastels to the most intense colours.
Retan K19
PREMIUM solution, 100% vegetable, sustainable. SCRD vegetable specialty of sweetened tannins, few astringent (Rhus Coriaria, Rhus Cotinus,etc.). The sweet of this tannin and its low astringency allow rapid penetration, enhance buffing properties for nubuck and suede items, softness with a fine and tight grain. Excellent striker for dyes with very good solidity (water / sweat).
Retan KLI
PREMIUM solution, 100% vegetable, sustainable. SCRD specialty from Quebracho, optimized for better dispersion and penetration. The penetration of the tannin in the heart of the skin is rapid, giving full leathers, tight grain, soft, with good adhesion. Often used in combination with Retan MM or Mimosa.
Retan NCL
PREMIUM solution, 100% vegetable, sustainable. Modified chestnut extracts, not sweetened, with very good penetration. For ultra-fast vegetable tanning and retanning of heavy leathers and light shade colour leathers, with very good light fastness.
Retan SFK
PREMIUM solution, 100% vegetable, sustainable. Exclusive SCRD creation of tanning pyrocatechol extracts (solubilized and modified Quebracho). Used both in tanning and in retanning of wet-blue for the shoe upper, large leather goods. It gives the leather firmness and fullness with a strong vegetable character. This composition guarantees a constant quality allowing a homogeneity and a great regularity of the batches of leathers.
Retan TB
PREMIUM solution, 100% vegetable, sustainable. SCRD exclusivity. Hydrolysable tannins obtained by micronization of selected tara pods. Its effects: best solution on the market for its constant quality, less insoluble, light colour, less iron stains, better penetration hence optimal tanning efficiency and unmatched antioxidant power to inhibit the formation of chromium VI.
Retan TDN
PREMIUM solution, 100% vegetable, sustainable. SCRD specialty of hydrolysable tannins from the ellagitannins family (Oaks / chestnuts). This formulation decreasing its astringency, improves its penetration to obtain firm, no stretch leather, with a fine and tight grain like vegetable leather.
Retan TDT
PREMIUM solution, 100% vegetable, sustainable. Exclusive SCRD combination of tanning hydrolysable extracts from the ellagitannins family (Oaks / chestnuts). Can be used like Chestnut with superior characteristics in terms of penetration, for compact leathers, without stretch, with good light resistance, giving characteristics of vegetable tanned leather. Excellent for waterproof leathers and heavy leathers (like sole leathers).
Retan TOP
PREMIUM solution, 100% vegetable, sustainable. Original composition of hydrolysable tannins (Badamier chebula). Gives the leather suppleness and softness. It improves light fastness and lightens color when used in combination with other tannins such as Retan MM and Retan KLI. Prevents the formation of chromium VI.
Retan TT
PREMIUM solution, 100% vegetable, sustainable. SCRD specialty. Hydrolysable tannins obtained by grinding tara pods. Few of insolubles, constant quality, less iron stains, better penetration and excellent dispersion, superior dye yields, anti-chromium VI.
Retan VA
PREMIUM solution, durable. Retanning specialty from short-term renewable vegetable tannins. Versatile product ideal for soft leather articles such as automotive car seats, upholsteries, garments, or soft leather good.
Syntex APH-N
PREMIUM solution. Auxiliary synthetic tannin with very high dispersing power. Its high dispersing power, its high concentration, make this product essential during complete vegetable tanning or retanning of wet-blue with vegetable tannins. It ensures the penetration of anionic dyes and unison of the dyeing.
Syntex B2K
Dihydroxydiphenylsulfone condensate syntan. Very white syntan. Has good tanning and dry-milling properties. Ideal for chrome-free, white and dry-milled articles. Formaldehyde free.
Syntex LDT
Condensation of phenol and sulfone based syntans with filling agents. Gives a white, fine and stretchy grain. As an universal replacement syntan, could be used in all kind of articles. Formaldehyde free.
Syntex ATF
Aluminium triformate. Has tanning power compared to classic aluminium salt. Has a strong tightening effect on the fiber and is highly recommended for the production of Nubuck, Suede and Split. It is a master product for Double Face and Fur production, leading to strong and bright colors on keratin.
Syntex C
PREMIUM solution. Universal compact synthetic tannin. Gives clear, round, soft leathers, good light fastness, uniform and increased filling in the bellies. Suitable for chrome-free leather. Widely used in corrected grain for its shaving and buffing abilities.
Syntex W2 / W2C
PREMIUM solution. Organo-metallic hybrid pretanning agent, specialty of SCRD. Controversial chromium-free and aldehyde-free system, used as a pre-tanning agent for wet-white leathers, and perfectly white leathers, requesting light and heat resistances. It also makes it possible to obtain waterproof leathers without chrome.
Syntex PSF
High concentration synthetic replacement tannin which find application in chrome tanning, mixed and vegetable tanning. Molecular weight of Syntex PSF is designed in order to allow a deeper and uniform section penetration and good light fastness. Leathers treated with Syntex PSF are characterized by silky hand, exceptional softness and fine grain thanks to its very weak astringency. Syntex PSF can be used as a pretanning aid after deliming allowing salt free pickling in wet white processes.
Syntex SU
High concentrated Dihydroxydiphenylsulfone condensate syntan. Very white syntan. Has good tanning and dry-milling properties. Ideal for chrome-free, white and dry-milled articles.
Syntex CCN
Naphthalene condensate syntan. High dispersing power on vegetable extracts and dyestuffs. During neutralization, its anionizating power facilitates a deep and homogeneous neutralization. Its low ash content allows its use for fuIl vegetable tanning.

Duvoil BSN: Universal
Sulfited marine oil, bleached and deodorized. Sulfited with a high degree of S03. Excellent stability and fast penetration. Outstanding performance for soft articles. Recommended for upholstery, garment and soft shoe upper.
Duvoil PBT
Crude neat's foot equivalent of natural origin. Excellent lubrication of the fibers and PBT gives a flexible grain. Increases the lastometer resistance. Must be emulsified along with anionic or cationic fatliquors.
Duvoil PBS
Sulphated neat's foot oil. Universal and safe fatliquor for lubrication. Specially recommended for shoe upper articles. During the topping process, PBS will improve the burnish effect and the dyes' brightness.
Duvoil SOF
Phosphoric esters. Recommended on high performance upholstery and garment leathers. No migration and excellent fixation on chrome leathers.
Duvoil BA
Lecithin emulsion. Very easy to dissolve in water. Gives extreme softness to the leather, the characteristic “Lecithin Touch”. Premium choice for soft articles like upholstery, garment and glove.
Duvaltan CEN
Universal acrylic polymer. To be used on wet-blue to improve fullness. Has a light tanning power and should be used in a pretanning system to increase the stability of the hide during shaving.
Duvaltan SCF
PREMIUM solution. Exclusive SCRD combination of copolymer resins and vegetable tannins. Versatile product that improves skin with looseness, particularly in the bellies, by a re-tanning and filling double action.
Duvaltan PRO
Genuine protein resin. Strong filling properties and increasing leather's thickness during the process. Stable and very effective in wet-white tanning. Particularly recommended to improve glutaraldehyde uptakes and shaving operations.
TanEasy G new
PREMIUM solution. From a specific chemistry, special universal compound (tanning, retanning) suitable for all pre tanning system (WB, WW). It can be used in combination, but alone it reveals its full potential by giving the leather exceptional roundness and fullness. Its good light resistance also makes it suitable for producing white leathers or pastel shades.
