Terminalia Chebula

Native from Asia, Termanalia Chebula is a big tree (up to 30 meters). There are many sub-varieties such as Terminalia Chebula var. Chebula (Ray Mond) or Terminalia Chebula var. Tomentella (T. Kurz).Terminalia Chebula contains terflavin B, a type of tannin, while chebulinic acid is found in the fruits. Myrobolam is widely used in Ayurvedic medicine.
